Bigger than home, performance, acrylic on canvas, ceramic, armor, wooden stick, chalk, loudspeaker, soundtrack, text, 12.40 min, 2019

Bigger than home is a composition of short poems, lines drawn with white chalk and a flag-painting hoisting, songs and making noise with a banner-armor. The performance is inspired by a reflection on the fragility of skin and the vulnerability of a body, a body antenna that is both a receptacle and an active excrescence. It questions the notion of inside and outside in relation with the function of the skin as a porous barrier.
